During the ITS OOPS project participants will work in groups to develop a game using KNP and keep a log book of their process during the project. The nature of participants game is entirely up to them, however students should be encouraged to try to choose something they can finish. Some marks will be allocated for the level of completion, as this indicates their competency in Top Down Design. However, this is and exploratory work and students should not fail just because their work is incomplete. The log book kept by participants should detail their planning, any problems they faced and any solutions they found. It should also detail each participants roles in production. The project should be assessed both on the basis of innovation, extent and standard of completion. This will be assessed by evaluating finished products. Students should also receive marks on the basis of the level of detail recorded about their development process. This will be assessed through review of their log books.
