In 1975 the first microcomputer was introduced. Each year, computer technology undergoes sweeping and dramatic transformations. For many students, it is difficult to comprehend these changes because they occur so quickly and often go unnoticed. Students need stories of the past to understand the present, and giving them such stories is the point of this lesson. These links allow students to become acquainted with the technological advances over the past 20 years and their influences on our world.
